Quotation marks usually have two curly-like apostrophes , but it's still a singular punctuation mark.

I don't think Halo deserves this but MS does because of all that money that they have invested into gaming. Personally I think Halo series is way overhyped (Seriously 16 player online multiplayer at year 2007 and it gets praises?). I still like Halo games though. Controlls are superb and games have great athmosphere.

You're kind of missing the point.  More players does not automatically equal more fun, in fact often it just equals more frustration. 

I happen to agree that I'd rather have less players and great balance to the gameplay than more numbers but I can see why people feel they're missing out.  My guess is if they ever actually tried building a balanced multiplayer map for over 32 players on other games then they might understand why its the overall experience thats more valuable than simply "bigger".

Seriously, on topic, while it's not my style of game, props still have to be given to it for getting into the elite 10M+ club. May it continue selling, and live on to outsell GTA4!

Yeah i hope it sells more. It is the best online fps experience and should i hope Halo Reach can also comtinue in it's path. Great job Halo 3, a simply suberb game.
