Lost Planet 2
Capcom has confirmed that Lost Planet 2 will make its PlayStation 3 début at GamesCom in Cologne, Germany.
"The sequel to Lost Planet was announced exclusively on Xbox Live, with further press releases failing to mention any other console entrances. The assumption was that the four-player co-operative game was an Xbox 360 exclusive, but Capcom continued to remain mysterious.
A confirmation of the game's PS3 appearance did eventually come, but we've yet to see any media from this version of the game. For good reason, some might say, due to the poorer performance of the first game on Sony's console.
However, the waiting is now over, with Capcom confirming their GamesCom line-up. Hidden in their press release you'll find this statement from the developer and publisher:
"European gamers will be able to experience the highly anticipated extensive multiplayer action of Lost Planet 2 as the title makes its worldwide debut on the PlayStation 3."

Amusingly the Xbox 360 version of the game isn't mentioned anywhere this time, but we'll presume it'll also be there.
Capcom will also present Dark Void, Monster Hunter Tri, MotoGP 09-10, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All Stars, Spyborgs and Resident Evil 5 on PC.
