Yeah. Or so I thought. The Meijer ad looked legit and I had heard no word of anything since then. There were some rumors that it was a temporary sale, but I doubt they would drop $100 off for a temporary sale unless we were to expect something new to replace it...

In all fairness, it's not 100% confirmed, and plenty of hucksters have gone out of their way to release fake ads, info, photos, etc. to lay credence to the notion that because people are releasing fake info, the real thing does not exist.

Of course some will still refuse to believe it in the face of the overwhelming evidence until someone beats them over the head with a PS3 Slim.

Everyone was confident that Sony was going to announce a price cut at E3 and we saw how that turned out. It's all a waiting game until it actually happens.
