I think the Uk was the worst affected in Europe. Damn, because of our massive shrinking economy in the past year and a bit, we have a smaller economy than france again. boooooo the french!!!!

I think it's because Europe has a more "United we stand divided we fall" mentality than the USA. The econo,ies that have been badly effected are the ones that are heavily reliant on financial tertiary industries, such as banking. So countries like Iceland, UK and Sitzerland are feeling the pinch a bit more than the rest of Europe. But hopefully those countries will be there to help us back up.
