Company might go under just fighting this lawsuit if Microsoft keeps pushing it to the next level.
I hope and know MS will win this. Ms did nothing wrong, the world is always after them.

LOL! Yeah... I won a judgment from M$ the other day... I patented use of the alphabet and they infringed on the patent. Lucky me.

Lol only took you 7 years. I remember viewing this picture back in 2002

poor microsoft, always getting sued. Do these small companies just patent as much stuff as they can and hope a big company might infringe so they can get a piece of the pie?
WTF? the court is stupid. Even if Microsoft is guilty they cant make them stop selling word.. it would put the united states in a huge disadvantage seeing how nearly all companies would have to migrate to a new program when windows 7 launches in a few months...
uggg some people are stupid
hello how are you.

Classic!

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

I'm sick and tired of these tiny companies getting some obscure patent for something incredibly obvious and being able to extort money out of other companies that actually put out products people use. Especially when it's an industry standard like XML or MP3, and they wait until it's gone into common usage before suing. If someone doesn't make a product almost immediately, their patent should be declared void and left to someone that actually can make the product. Copyright law exists soley to advance the arts and sciences, not "to make people money." Basically claiming you own XML isn't advance the arts and sciences. It's holding them ransom. |
Google "Microsoft FAT patent." MS is guilty of the same thing.
