Madden 02 released in 2001, just like Madden 03 released in 2002. With sales of 2.38 million and 3.18 million. I think GT3 sold 4 million in USA in first two years and another 500k in Canada. So at must i belive only 1 million comes from bundles.

they only sold 1 million ps2's that year?  I worked at gamestop durring this time frame.  Pretty much every ps2 sold in 2001 also came with gran turismo.  Because sony bundled ever system with the game.  I mean, if Sony only sold 1 million ps2's that year, that would make sense, but looking at ps2 lifetime figures, I'm guessing that they sold around 4-5 million ps2's that year.  ALL OF WHICH CAME WITH GRANT TURISMO 3.

(Sorry for the spacing here, VGChartz just messed up for me). I was mistaken about the Madden titles. Still, they merely total out 5M. Now, look at the X360 versions of Madden. They sell 1/3-1/4 later than their first year. For the Ps2, this is likely to be even moreso, as the average Ps2 owner was more "casual" (which results in longer legs, and smaller initial sales). All in all, the Maddens are likely to have totalled out 3.3-3.7 (I estimate) million only. Now, Gran Turismo sold a fair bit less than this, as it is lower placed. A rough estimate of 3M for the two years for GT3 seems the most logical to me. It did sell more than that, of course, so I would put the total sold at a good 4-5M, resulting in 3.5-4.5M of bundling. Still, that's not bad by any means.

Wouldnt it be easier to find out the ltd sales that NPD report for the game. then just - it from VGC numbers?

I know what you said.  Did you read my post?  Every ps2 was bundled with gran turismo for almost a year in North America.  So if only 1 or 1.5 million units of GT3 were bundled then that was all the ps2 hardware sold.  Understand?

Do you know that NPD doesn't count bundles right?

I know that.  I also notice that all y ou have is a top 10 and not numbers.  So far down the list Gran turismo probably only sold 1 to 1.5 both years.  Probably netting it about 3 million at most.  I would say at least half of gran turismo 3 sales are from bundles.
