Jak 3 and Disgaea1 aren't high enough.

I only agree with about half the list. There are alot more games out there that can trump some on this list.

I didn't like FFXII. It's not because of the MMORPG style gameplay; I actually liked that because it made me think of a 3D Baldur's Gate. What sucked about it was the gameplay in general. It just cannot stand up to better RPGs........such as Baldur's Gate. It juts feels dated.

Another thing: I thought Shadow of the Collusus was on everyone's #1 for top PS2 game.

Lol. I feel the same as you, except you would have to switch the games. Games like Baldur's Gate feel dated to me, and that is why I have trouble playing WRPGs.

I thought XII was good, or else I wouldn't have did everything in the game and sunk over 120+ hours into it. ^^

Last list was good, but this one sucks. Kingdom Hearts 1 instead of 2 is BIG FAIL. How can they put P3 instead of P4? (both should be there, of course).

San Andreas as no.1?? Vice City was much better. I can understand if you put GTA3, since it started all, changed videogaming and all that, but VC was better than SA, undeserved 1st place.

And Suikoden III ranked 24th last time and it doesn't appear this...nonsense

     Both Metacritic and IGN originally gave KH1  much higher review score than KH2.  The same thing GTA SA is the highest rated 6th gen GTA (and highest rated PS2 game at IGN with a review score of 9.9).  And it probably came down to a choice between Suikoden III, GrimGrimoire, and Odin Sphere for 25th place and they decided to give GrimGrimoire its day in the spotlight.  Also most people say you need to play Persona 3 before 4 to really appreciate Persona 4.

KH2 looks higher (not as much as it should be, it I might add, there should be even more difference) to me. Yes, IGN for some cosmically unexplainable reason rated the horrible KH1 higher than the masterpiece KH2. Doesn't make this list any better

 

As for P3 and P4, it's irrelevant. P4 is better than P3, said by me, IGN, Metacritic and everyone else. If IGN is willing to list one of them (when in reality they should list both), P4 is the choice. No, you don't need to play P3 before P4 (though playing P4 before might make you feel like a step backwards), you need to play both because they're two of the best games ever made, but P4 doesn't ride on P3's excellence or anything like that.

Also, GTA3 was named the best PS2 game ever last time. Where is it now? Surely it can't have been topped by 25 games, right?
