Expected Shadow of Colossus would be #1 and GTA either 2 or 3.

Own 16 out of the top 25, and all of top 5.

Persona 4 is missing, and Persona 3 is to low. I mean honestly, FFX over either Persona? Other then that I agree with pretty much everything. Jak over Ratchet, Kingdom Hearts over Kingdom Hearts 2. The only other complaint I could come with is that it need more Sly

Yup, as I began reading through the list I thought it was awesome, but as time passed, and I saw games like Okami and RE4 not even cracking the top 10, I realised this list is going to end up real bad.

I mean, seriously, San Andreas the best PS2 game? GoW2 second?!?!?!?!?! and I would've agreed about FFX in top ten, but at 5#?

Okami should've been a LOT higher, so does RE4.

I hate this list. Alot f great games are missing...where is MGS 2??

This list is crap. Where's Digital Devil Saga or Lucifer's Call, Persona 4? (yeah I know, I'm SMT maniac) Also games like Beyond Good And Evil, Grandia II, Ryu ga Gotoku and Zone of The Enders were left out. And the 1# is just BS.

I get that gamers were disappointed but there is something wrong with reviewers.  Back when MGS2 originally came out, they said that the game was amazing and that it lived up to the hype.  Now they say that it was a disappointment.  Did MGS2 not age well?

No Persona 4?  Even after IGN gave it a higher score than either version of Persona 3.

@ Kantor, lol you shouldve just showed the top 5 instead. Just think thats what majority would rather see posted lol. The list is alright, disagree with some of the order, and GTA SA #1 isnt right for me.

- MGS2 was released early on the PS2 with alot of hype thats why it outsold MGS3

- FFXII sold ALOT less than FFX does that mean that FFX was a disappintment and put alot of pepole of FF?????

I don't think MGS2 disappointing gamers really halved the fanbase.  MGS4 managed to do better than MGS3.  The first installments in established series in every generation tend to sell the best.  FFX did not disappoint that many people.  FFX is the 2nd most popular game in the series(behind VII).  It is also one of the most liked as well among the fanbase.
