Forums - Sony - The most impossibly difficult enemy you've ever faced in any game..

Ruby( as OP mentioned) and Emerald from FF7, The midgar Zolom at first lol.

Wiegraf from FFT damn that man. He made me restart the whole game from the start.

MArlboro from FFVIII. :-p

Luca Blight (Suikoden II) I have to play my other save points on the game. My other characters are underpowered and my weapon is not sharpened enough.

Enemies with high attack and magic on P3 and enemies with Mudo and Hama Skills.

Any respect for your gaming skill I've ever had has just completely evaporated.

What do you mean? You get hit once and you die.. and its almost impossible to even lay a hit on him *I have never faced him, im speaking of the videos ive seen of it*

I did beat him in Kingdom hearts 2

Second Chance? Accesories? Ultima Weapon? Level 99? High Defense? Reflexes?

If you have these, you can beat him.

At your second point, *scoffs*, it's too easy to be considered an accomplishment at all.

Well, I've just ripped out the heart of Trauma Center: Under the Knife. Let's see how the second one fares against dtewi.

Freya: Star Ocean 3. I had to resort to the Uber-Fayt strategy...lame

Doku (chapter 3): Ninja Gaiden Sigma (never won this one). I would love to meet someone who beat this dude in chapter 3.

"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

that you could only beat using cheats, a guide, or advice from someone who already beat him.

I have four on my mind:

Ruby Weapon (FF7, holy christ everyone knows the amount of preparation necessary for this dude.)

The End (MGS3, I fought him 15 times. That's 15 times of him dragging my ass to a shed, and each try took an hour at least.)

Lu Bu (Dynasty Warriors, I was never able to beat him, really. His ass is too hard.)

Mike Tyson (Punch Out!, my brother, who is a professional boxer with catlike reflexes, beat him way back then when I cried continuously every time he knocked me out.)

EDIT: this should've been in the general gaming section. my mistake.

wow, I was actually going to say that, I remember going to fight him with a bunch of level 60's thinking how hard could it be?....pretty hard. I remember Tifa and Vincent getting killed in one shot and since Cloud had about 30 hp left I figured I'd use Omnislash since I was about to die anyway and all 15 swings did zero damage.

may sound strange... but the final boss in metroid prime, i cant beat him.
and i found the hall before the final boss very irritating with the metroids.

the second part of the final boss in god of war 1 ...i did beat it, but it took me around 15 tries.
