That's how I'm seeing it though they might be making money on certain bundles/models...but those of course are being cancled out..

The 160GB SKU likely drew a small profit on each unit sold, but that's really irrelevant. Limited production (out of production) and a minor percentage of overall sales.

Naturally what's important is reducing losses or making profits on EVERY unit sold.

They lost more than 300 million, yea it doesnt' include just playstation but it clearly said that one of the reasons for the loss was the drop in profits from playstation.  It's not 300 million but it is almost certainly in the red.

About $390 million in the red Sony's last fiscal quarter.
