What can I do? glam is boring compared to any other metal. I'd call it party metal... I have no problems with any other metal... except senseless death metal.

I'm saying metal too much.

I know...took me long time to open up to some metal genre's. Prog metal like Stratovarious...I thought they were all bunch of wankers.

But eventually you realize that any metal is better than hip hop...lol

Already did when I was 15, haha.

Stratovarius is pretty great, btw.

All those clowns like Stratovarious, dream theater, Sonata artica... are talented but I couldn't get over how its more musical math than songwriting with feeling...

Heavy metal is about not giving a shit, giving everyone the finger and doing shit your way and destroying the aduience with your wall of sound...not about pretty harmonized vocals, arpegios and guitar clinic videos. But I learned to appreciate them for what they are...

Startovarius are really over the top with that stuff, true. It's too clean (the music is still pretty damn great, though). Ideal metal should be gritty, like early In Flames. The song they picked for this game is really trippy and fun.

Wow looks like this game is shaping up? When does this come out?

16th Rocktober (maybe 13th for US)

I just noticed Dark Tranquility and Deathstars. :O

lol...yeah the Sweedish Gotenberg sound is well represented in this game. Soilwork is missing though...

Eh... I'm not a glam metal, black metal or even really death metal fan...

I like Thrash-metal, Nu-metal, Metal Ballads, Alternative Metal, Heavy Metal, and just plain metal... Those aren't really present very much in this game...

lol...again, you can play glam, black, death metal tunes in this game...or you can play Weezer, Garbage, Chilli peppers and other silly stuff.

Anything Metal is usually better than anything non-metal. This attitude you have is what killed metal when it was in the spotlight.

I'd take Carcass track over Lady Gaga any day.

Oh dude, Don't worry, I HATE pop and hip-hop... I'd take fucking St. Anger, Load, and ReLoad (metallica's worst albums) consecutively over 1 fucking Jonas Brothers and Miley Cirus and Soulja Boy song... But I still love non-metal stuff like punk, grunge and alternative, considering my favorite bands list like this: Zebrahead (Punk/Rapcore), Magna-Fi (Metal-Grunge), Linkin Park (Alternative/Nu-metal), Disturbed (Nu-Metal), and a tie for fifth between Nirvana and (old) Green Day, I have a VERY diverse, yet appropriate taste...

Yup, that's a prob... how fitting is this one for the game?

Tornado of Souls is my favorite song ever!

@Xen

lol. Love seeing Bjorn "singing his heart out" for the chorus of every song these days. When Natural Born Chaos came out with that sound it was so mindblowing...however they really need to change it up now.

@lightbleeder

Tornado of souls is the shit. Half of the Megadeth guitar players that Mustaine got after Marty Freidman left couldn't play that solo properly. Luckily they got Chris Broderick now who is the man...

Sworn to a great divide was (disappointingly) different I'd say. But yeah, Natural Born Chaos rules!

Another bad omission is At The Gates.

Oh Hell is that Mr. Crowley, one of the finest metal songs ever written?

I do love Double Fine studios I do.
