I never knew how terrible Internet Explorer was until I downloaded Firefox.

rofl.
OT: I use FF 3.5.2 because of the addons (espically ad blocker), but chrome is waaay faster on my computer and uses like 1/3 the RAM, so if they ever make versions of my fav FF addons for Chrome, I will use that in a second. I generally don't use any other browsers, but I will say that IE8 is a giant step in the right direction. They have a loong way to go, but at least its something...
Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it

IE7 at work (no choice) IE8 at home (always works with websites, except this one?!?!), and safari on my iPhone.

I didn't see a difference between Chrome, IE, FF and Opera when trying to load this site. Opera looked white until everything was loaded though (that pisses me off). |
Close all of my extra programs so I can browse the internet faster with FF when I can multi-task with Chrome? Seems kinda silly.
What I meant is Ctrl+Shift+Esc and delete all unnecessary processes. Sometimes, you can have some that take more than 5-10k octets (don't know the word in English, sorry) of memory and you don't even know what it does!
Plus, like I said, the browsing speed should be the same. I believe the only thing that's slow in FF is when you open it. The rest is a smooth ride, like the Cole train.
Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

I just realized that I typed this message on my Windows laptop...running firefox. Oh well, it was after a day of programming and my mind was fried.
Google Chrome 3.0 the fastest web browser in the world, 5.4 times faster then firefox heck even IE8 got faster then firefox now
How are those addons working for you in Chrome?
For example, you can say "Chrome loads pages faster, so if I do a search in Google and I gotta go to page 10 I'll do it much faster", when I can reply "but if you use AutoPager in Firefox, you can load all those 10 pages automatically in the same page and just scroll without ever changing pages"
So, in the end, speed is irrelevant for FF, because it doesn't need to be fast, it can offer exactly what you need depending on the situation, thus making browsing faster in the end for people

I use IE8 myself. It does everything I need it to. And looking at the arrogance of a few of the FF users in this thread, it reminds me why I will never use FF.
