I look forward to digital distribution - I dunno what it is. I think I'm just lazy, I don't want to have shelves of boxes and CD's, I don't want to have to 'find' a game to have to play it, and I love being able to buy a game and play it on a Friday night if I don't go out or whatever. It's just convinient, and why I'm so interested in the PSP Go.

The potential for more original games due to the cheaper nature of making games / pricing is exciting to me too. Whether or not you liked them, we wouldn't have got games like Fat Princess, EchoChrome, Shatter, Super Stardust HD, Wipeout HD etc if it didn't exsist. I hope as downloading becomes more popular and a larger market we get more quirky and odd games that simply couldn't make any money as a retail release.

The sooner we don't have retail the better :).

i dont like expensive DL games. £4.99 ones are ok but i rarely even get them.

if wipout and fat princess are published on a bluray i will get them. thats why i got the bluray version of siren blood curse. at least u have something to keep in hand.

If it's all digital, the prices better be 30% lower

this has been an issue for years.
PC gaming is my example.

There have been two approaches to the PC gaming problem of not being able to return or sell used pc games to places like gamestop.
1. Stop complaining
2. Start Pirating

I understand that you cannot even sell a downloaded game to a buddy or anonymous user on craigslist, but even so, doing the same with pc games is also against the EULA or TOS.

But how much money back would you really get for a 15$ game? And you can still share PSN games for free with 5 of your buddies. It really isnt that much money to lose and/or get back. Still i see your point for the future, but not in this case with a game like this and for a price like that.

A lot of people were hype for Fat Princess and now some are disappointed because it wasn't what they thought it was. People get so hype over games and expecting it to be so good. Fat Princess is a $15 game. What were you expecting the game to be like at that price? It’s best to wait for demos like I do or ask someone if you can download the game from they account. I never was hype for Fat Princess so I will wait for a demo to come out 1st.

I didn't say it was bad.  I haven't played it yet.  It's just some people was expecting it to be good for them from the hype but it wasn't.
