The same guy who said the ps3 was too expensive lol. I'd rather have expensive hardware (one time cost) and cheap software (recurring cost) than the other way around. MW2 is definitely a skip for me if they raise the price.

"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

I don't really see the problem here. Every consumer has two options:

1. Buy the game
2. Do not buy the game

You choose option 1 if the value of the game exceeds the cost. You choose option 2 if the cost of the game exceeds its value.

I tend not to buy games that cost over €10 unless I REALLY want them. €50 is really way too much for me. But I don't complain. Instead I look for deals, lend games from friends or play them at my friends.

Meh, they will keep selling CoDs even at $100, they have the kind of market that will never turn it's back on them.

You look at the whole thing too much from a business perspective. We are the consoumers! We should look at things from a consoumer standpoint, not a business one! If a good game comes out with a higher price, being angry is justified because we are the consoumers and should only care about ourselves. Isn't that why companies exist? To serve the consoumers?
