It may work like Shadowrun (which allows PC vs 360 multiplayer action).  Because many PC players do not have voice chat (but all 360 players do) Shadowrun also has a taunt system.  Taunts can be instantly sent by hitting different directions on the D-pad.

There is no cross platform play for TF2 or any Valve games...it would require Valve to create some sort of system to work with Microsoft across the 360 and PC. Microsoft is trying to use its own Windows Live service to play games like Shadowrun and such across the 360 and PC, I doubt they'll let Steam users do the same.

 That is a big number.  But everyone who got a premium Xbox 360 certainly does.

I haven't had the chance to play portal or episode 2 yet (I've been at work) but I'm happy to report that TF2 runs very will in Linux. You must use wine (of course), and there's some problems with high end shader stuff so it doesn't look quite as pretty as windows, but it is 100% playable.

I have to go download portal/ep. 2 now...

The ending credits for Portal are the best for any game I've ever played. Play through Portal now so you know what I mean!!

I imagine the game would become infinitely replayable if there were user mods available.
