Forums - Nintendo - Did we lose a great Wii exclusive? How Saddening. . .

Game - Sadness

Developer - Nibris

I expected a lot of good things from Nibris. I dont think there's is much hope left. But im just going to be stubborn and say they're still working on this game. What are your guys thoughts. Were you interested in the game?

Losing implies it ever really existed. The game is vaporware.

I want to believe it but when I do more research I found out that the game has a projected release date of Autumn 2009. Now if you think about it thats pretty unlikely but strange because that would mean anywhere betwen September and November. Now what I want to know is, why go through all the trouble of doing so much work on the game if you aren't going to finish it?

I've already put it down with Project Hammer and Kirby Wii as dead. Kirby, too, has a 2009 release date, but it's been down for release every year since 2006.

I was interested when it was first announced, but then I realised the project was highly unlikely to come to fruition.

I don't feel as though the Wii will miss out on anything much because of this. The release list for 2010 is getting better as 2009 passes by, so I'll have more than enough Wii exclusive games to play.

All of what work? A few bits of concept art? That can be done in your spare time for fun. The game was supposed to be a Wii launch title. It never materialized. It never will materialize. It is vaporware.

game does not exist... and probably never will.
Nibris had the concept, but not money to make a game

Really? Kirby? Damn and I was anticipating that game too. Sometimes I dont understand how Nintendo works you know. They go and take a game like Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast that was supposed to come out for Gamecube and put it on the Wii yet they wont make Kirby. Oh well. And as for P.H. well, it looked cool at first then I lost interest. But its like someone else said, the Wii's 2010 library is shaping up and Silent Hill does look incredible so hey you lose some and gain some right?
