Nintendo going all ourt with press releases giving numbers for WSR. They are excited and should be!

Looks like the Wii has passed this test. Of course it is kind of sad because now developers will work on making many more clones of this type of game on Wii rather than new ips like No More Heroes, etc. Nintendo should really try to bring the standard of quality seal back in some form, so that developers just don't sit on their laurels and try to bring out cheap clones of successful Wii Series games that obscure everything else in the market.

well, Nintendo made recently two press release about this game, so they really want people to know that wii is fine. And that the game is performing well.

I disagree. Well partially. Nintendo is catering to both hardcore and casuals. Just, it would be nice to get a little more mixture in the hardcore side such as Star Fox, F-Zero, Donkey Kong, well the list goes on but you know what I mean. And some developer have problems too when it comes to releasing cheap games to make a quick buck ~cough-Ubisoft-cough~
