Forums - Sales - Japan First Day Sales (8/6)

Blood of Bahamut got owned, presumably because of SE's own DQ9.

What stupid planning...

PSN - hanafuda

what was the reason why FF XIII couldn't be released in Japan along side the PS3 version?

I don't understand why SE would do that, RE5 and SF4 were released on both systems and it would sell 40% lower than the PS3 version but that's due to the user base difference.

3M to 1M

I would expect to try and get the most users playing it.

Monster Hunter Tri : Omegas

Behold! I am Omegas

The reason is identical to why Star Ocean 4 and The Last Remnant aren't on the PS3.

Hmm i was expecting more from Tales of VS then again maybe that's becouse i read too much hype for Tales of everything from Soriku :D

But that PS2 gundam game oh wow.

Magna Carta another game that should have been released as multiplatform.

Yeah, well, this is just a Tales fighter :P I'm awaiting ToV/Tales of Graces sales (though I think ToV's gonna do a bit less than people think...) since those are proper. It did good for what it is IMO.

SD Gundam sold great on PS2, and they should've shipped more on the Wii. Blood of Bahamut sold less than I expected. Magna Carta II sold not bad for what it is I think.

Hmm i checked Dissidia 500k first week.

I guess 140-150k first week Tales  VS sounds right when comparing size of franchises.

Why? The sell through is good, but not undershipped. f anything, they should've shipped more of the PS2 versio, which had a higher sell through.

OT: Magna Carta sales are a bit dissapointing, didn't the original sell over 150k? Blood of Bahamut performs low as well.

I just noticed the difference between PS2 and Wii Gundam is huge o_0. Wouldn't it be smarter to make a PS2 and PSP or PS3 version? I guess the Wii version will have better legs though.

There's a PS3 gundam game coming in november september, but I think that's a completely different game.

No, and neither is PSP, Zlejedi.

Ahh i though that this one is PS2/Wii version of that 30 year gundam franchise unniversary game that will have multiplayer combat.

But i checked now and seems the PS3/X360 one is: Mobile Suit Gundam: Battlefield Record U.c.0081.

It's a PS3 exclusive, no 360 version planned.
