That's pretty damn close to a million if you ask me.  It looks like Wii will get its first million-selling third-party title after all.

Well it has plenty of 3rd party million sellers.  It's just this will be the first one to do a million in Japan alone.  Well actually across all platforms period in Japan.  If it makes of course before FF13.  But still quite an accomplishment.

Yeah, I did mean Japan, and I totally agree.  Japan definitely needed a million seller from a third party title, and this will definitely be a first-timer... that is, until Dragon Quest X.  I don't know how most of this holiday's software titles will perform in Japan compared to this, but it's definitely a sign of both quality third-party titles finally giving the Wii a much needed shot in the arm, and that it's being less neglected than it was by said developers at the time of its launch.

Well, the 10 weeks are up, and my prediction is finally complete.

After 10 weeks, Monster Hunter 3 has sold 917,148 copies, a mere 2,000 units away from what I predicted way back in August.

I have done Predictions League several times in the past, but I have never predicted a game's tracking in this manner before. I must say I'm shocked at the accuracy and I hit the nail square on the head.

Famitsu has it exactly at 915k (9/28-10/4 sales) as well.
