Late october in west might be bit earlier in Japan.

Unfortunatly a lot of big games have been moved to 2010.

But then again there's possibility of GT5 and FF XIII both making it to shops before christmas.

Tale of Vesperia, Resonance of Fate, Bayonetta... none of these games are console movers though, a small bump at the most, the only time you'll see a home console bump over 100k this year in Japan is when FFXIII launches...
