Forums - Gaming - Stof does Tokyo. Pictures inside.

So Tokyo is a fun place. An Expensively fun place. It's also a nerd's heaven. So I thought I'd share some of the videogame related and or just plain weird photos of my experience. Sadly, despite being there during the Monster hunter 3 launch. I didn't get to see the crazy lineups or events. oh well.

In a nearby arcade I found the singular most wanted game of my life.

YEAH!

Sadly, the two options were either Japanese, or English spelling Japanese words. The second time, My girlfriend and I accidently chose Japanese. I have no idea how those keyboards work, because we just couldn't get it to register a single character.

Yes, it's true. You can buy pre-worn school girl undies in one of the numerous sex shops. You can buy a lot of things actually. I won't be showing pictures of some of the things we found. Like the sexual assault pornography or the videos of 12 year olds modeling underwear and getting tickled... Japan is screwed up.

Pachinko!

Here's an idea for a fun day. Sit infront of a screaming blinking machine and drop small metal balls in it while smoking like crazy. I know there are people in the west who are like this with slot machines, but you don't find 6 slot machine joints within a 2 minute walk from eachother. It was kind of sad watching so many people throw their money away on these things.

Hm... I'm hungry. I should get some monster meat

Ok. No idea what it is, but all the convenience stores had them.

Yup, Japan is screwed up.

I wish I had a Super Mario to hold my DS for me...

Oh, that's perfect.

Screwed up...

Still screwed up...

This is the Sega amusement park. They've got an indoor rollercoaster and a bunch of other stuff we didn't see because the Sega amusement park is damned expensive.

Alright. So we went to a big department store's videogame section.

Damn they love the Monster hunter.

Oh yeah, lots of DQ stuff too.

There must have been 30 guys huddled around this DS download station. It was too weird.

Pheonix Wright Diorama anyone?

How about a Grand Slam Tennis Diorama?

It's Tingle Time! Turns out it's a point and click adventure. Looked fun.

We're in Japan Hey look, it's the Obama store!

Anyone out there who knows Korea will really enjoy this one. but damn I look bad in this photo.

ROBOTS!

I can't show you the actual picture of this. Just the sign

And with that, I conclude my trip photos.

Tokyo was awesome.

Awesome trip. The Beatles shirt was just...too much.

I do believe the swastika means peace(at least used too)

Nice photos. Looks awesome. Did you have a chance to have some Japanese food while you were there?

Rad!

Lucky b! I seriously want to go there and experience all this crazy stuff myself one day!

I want a Super Mario too. :(

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

hard to tell where most of those place are but I've been to Joypolis, it's pretty badass. If only arcades like that existed in America.

Also I didn't know you were in Korea, I spent a year there as well not long ago. I had kind of a mixed experience myself.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

Wanna buy me some of that Monster Meat?

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

On it's side it's a Buddhist symbol (all over Korea) On it's angle, and black in a white circle surrounded with red... It's hitler. Which reminds me. My city in Korea used to have a bar called The Hitler Bar. The guy just thought Hitler might be popular with the youth. After he kept getting foreigners coming in and yelling at him, he took down the Hitler on the front and renamed it the Ditler bar. It folded soon after.

@ Dark Chaos - Foods damned expensive. We did some Soups (Udong) and had some sushi in the airport. But we mostly did cheap stuff. Had some amazing curry though. But don't worry. In Korea you can get authentic Japanese food for Korean prices.
