I was gonna get FF XIII at first but I heard versus has the different battle style so I'm gonna be getting that probably.

Versus. I prefer ARPGs and the mainline FF series has went downhill starting with VII (except for IX which was cool).

FF went down with VII? I know it is hyped like crazy but it doesn't take away the fact that it is a great game.

Mind you, this is strictly an opinion, but yes.  From the overly long battle effects to the androgenous, whiney heros... I don't care for it too much.  I don't vehimently dislike it, I do see it as over rated and not as good as the previous 6 or FF9.  Granted, Versus may still have the whiney androngenous heros, but the battle system and sheer polish look to make up for it.

I know a LOT of people chastise LoZ because Link is a mute, but I would prefer the strong, silent hero to Cloud any day.  I would REALLY prefer a hero who talked but knew when to shut up and whose conversations could have a major effect on the flow of the game. 

Cloud was pretty silent in the beginning of the game :). I don't recall him whining really, he turned into a hero and wanted to stop Sephiroth. If he was whining, it was probably the mako talking.
In FF7 you really get to know the characters, the story really unfolds and their personalities are expanded. They are kind of like a group of teenagers.
Do people actually complain about Link not talking? He's a great hero as it is. We've gone so far without him talking that they couldn't possibly find a voice actor to please the fans.

This is kinda tough. I would love a dark, mature Kingdom Hearts.


Saying that, we don't know much about Versus and we know a good bit about 13.


I have to say 13 atm, because that's going to get here a lot closer.

Well Im a fan of Kingdom hearts in fact I have finish the first 2 several times!!!! mainly because I like it's gameplay, combat style, boss battle(Organization 13!!!!),characters and story so I am definitly more interested in Versus.

If i have to (and luckily i wont have to)...lets see
