Forums - Nintendo - Call of Duty is comming to Wii this November

Knowing the Wii it probably won't have any new content, and may even have less than the PC version.

I wish there was some news on content. 3 months is gonna be torture for me to wait.

You won't have to wait 3 months for info.

GamesCon is a little over a week from now, Activate Asia is in early September and Nintendo's Fall Conference is in early October.

We'll get all the details we need from these 3 events.

The rEVOLution is not being televised

You are correct Viper.

I know all of you really want to see what this game looks like, but you're going to have to wait for GamesCon 2009 in Cologne, Germany. Activision is bringing quite a few games obviously including MW2. We'll have to see if MW1 is going to be there.

Currently enjoying: Monster Hunter Tri.

thanks guys

If it doesn't use wii-speak I don't want it and I bet its going to be a bad game

One thing that I've thought from this: COD has split into two series, right, Modern Warfare and the normal one starting with COD:WAW.

This means that this Wii game will be called 'Modern Warfare'. Meaning some (most) casuals probably won't realise that a. It's COD4 from two years ago on PS360 or b. that there's any difference between that and MW2, they'll just go to buy 'that new Modern Warfare game for Wii".

Devilish.

Well there are a few things going for it and against it.

1) Proven IP
2) Fantastic game
3) large budget

but....

1) possibly gimped port
2) Releases the same day as MW 2
3) 2 years old.

Call of Duty really split back when CoD2 came out. Even though Infinity Ward's and Treyarch's game both took place in WW2, they were still different stories. It really split in 2007 and 2008 with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare changing the era you played in and World at War staying in WW2 but going towards the area that isn't talked about much, Japan.

Why is "Possibly has more features" not even being considered?

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs
