Perhaps you can enlighten us as to why when it has more content than the first one. Yet again I say, if the exact same game were coming out in 2010 or 2011, there would be no whining about it at all. The only attempted justification for this "expansion pack" nonsense is that "OMG the game is coming out one year after the first one, Valve's trying to milk the franchise!"

Meh..I'll wait till the game hits the bargain bin's or something, I'm not paying full price for that dumb game again.

I read your post, having an expansion pack that has more content than the original game makes no sense at all. Try to use logic the next time you post, it helps the overall level of understanding. See, I can be as much of a smart alleck as you can.

 

EDIT: I never agreed nor disagreed on whether it had enough content for a full game. I just don't think that's relevant to what's going on with the sequel. Sorry if you thought I was attacking you or something...

Anyhow. My whole proposition was made based on the fact that I believe (as i wrote originally) left 4 dead 2 is a cash in. They ought instead, to have released it as an expansion pack. Since I don't believe left 4 dead had enough content for a full game my opinion was simply that the sequal should be an expansion. Which would make up for the lack of content in the first place.

I think you missed my point. I know that Quest for Booty wasn't a full Ratchet game, but it was released last year. Not to say that Crack in Time is gonna be a bad game, I myself am looking forward to it. But the fact is that I played a Ratchet game last year. So why would that be my most anticipated game when, let's say Brütal Legend is releasing this year, which didn't see a similar game the year.

I'd say the same counts for L4D2
