dude im a ND fan ive played ALL THERES GAMES!!!....anywayz ive decided to get Asassins creed, this or next week, but i want to know what doing all the side missions does i read that if you have the PS3 version not to worry about them, somewhere else it said that you get better equipment and items if you do them..which is right?

they do nothing actually.

i don't know about the Xbox version but it probably an achievement , but AFAIK on the PS3 they do nothing.
