Forums - Nintendo - Mario Galaxy Or Twilight Princess, Please Help

Zelda Twilight Princess needs another sale. I want it to reach 10 million copies on GC+Wii combined.

Mario is an annoying character, and it's hard to sleep after a Mario session because of all the color and movement input in your brain. Plus he already has incredible sales. I think Mario Galaxy has sold 10 million copies already.

Actually the difference ain't that big.

Zelda TP has sold 6.9 million copies while Mario Galaxy has sold 8.0 million copies.

Me. Ever heard of speedruns? And that's not abusing glitches, which I'm sure there are plenty in the game because of the gravity physics.

I think it is fair to say that the average person will take much, much longer than one night to finish Mario Galaxy. Taking your experience - as a speedrunner - and framing it as the norm is dishonest.

Exactly, especially if you want savour it like fine wine and get atleast 80 stars before you clock it.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Twilight Princess is fantastic of course but if you want pure instant fun go for SMG. Honestly though, you really should have both of them...

Dude, I played the game to its fullest thrice already. I think I've mastered it enough to speedrun it and still enjoy it.

It's not since yesterday that I've been playing games you know.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
