^ It was a prime example of Hollywood having too much money, and just making an explosion filled worthless action fest. This is the truest and best review I have seen for that movie, it's also quite funny.

I dont see blu ray ever taking off...its just technology that came too late. Even the people that i know that own bluray players dont buy blurays and thats sad. Call me a hater if you like but I just dont see the point in paying $35 for a movie when I can buy the same thing on dvd for $20. And I know what you're going to say, "but bluray has 6x the picture quality n00b lolololol"; not if you have a tv under 40" buddy...

Don't take this as me being anti-bd, I'm just a smart consumer ;) when they stop making dvds then maybe I will consider getting a bd player.

not to smart .... go on amazon no blu-ray is over like 25 bucks and the back movies are under 15 sometimes... i buy seasons for that much on blu-ray lol

I wonder if Fast and the Furious will do better or worse

I cant post pictures right now but here is a link to the sales tracking thread at Blu-ray.com

Its on page 37, halfway down

I was a bit bored and read whole the thread if I am correct DVD sales for the year will be down 5-10% compared to last year.  That is interesting to note;...I think.

Watched Watchmen. Watched The Dark Knight. If this movie beat out TDK, I don't know what's wrong with the world.

I will call you n00b. I have a 32" LCD, and the difference in picture quality is amazing. I say the best judge is this. Download a movie twice. An HD version, and a "DVD quality" version. Put them on you're 360 or PS3. That was there is no upscaling or anything, just the picture running in it's native resolution. If you say the HD version looks the same as DVD version....even on a 15" HDTV, then you should be diagnosed as blind.

Just go there, and if you can't see any differences, then just quit life. As mean as that sounds
