Id say thats a bit too much.
Although, id say at least 7-8million 360s have had to be replaced.

Yeah but MS wouldn't count the replaced one's as sales.

The old 120 giger went away with the Elite and the second replacement was a Core with no hard drive.

I should have made my post more clear.
I didn't mean the ones MS replaced themselves, i meant the replacements bought at retail.

They're going to count someone buying another 360 over the counter in a store or from the internet - i.e. making a new purchase as the OP describes. This very site will do the same. The topic isn't replacements for existing, failed units, its going out and buying a second or third unit.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
