I'm afraid if we're basing ARF's release on Amazon and Gamestop then Fragile won't be in 2009 either. Both sites have 1/26/10 for Fragile.

IGN: First of all, great job picking this game up. You're set to bring it out "winter 2009." That's pretty vague. Can we expect it for the holiday?
Kenji: Thank you, we're very excited to be working on this title. We'll try our best to bring it in time for the holidays, but since the game needs to have full English voice-recording done, a pre-holiday release will be extremely tight. We'll keep you guys updated.
"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

Was that meant to prove me right or wrong?

Xseed got smart and realized this game would be lost among all the heavy hitters coming out winter 2009.
Will they be touching up the visuals or gameplay within this time, or are they just doing English voice-overs?

Prove you wrong. They say that a pre-holiday release will be tight, they will bring it during holiday 09

Well since they themselves say that it's tight to release it pre-holiday, and January is only slightly after the holiday season, I will remain skeptical of when it will release.

Wii's holiday season is a bit overcrowded this year (for once), and populated largely with recognizable names, at least moreso than a new-IP JRPGP.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
