Forums - Nintendo - why are the Luigis always getting neglected

Mario is always the main character and he always get all the better games and stuff while luigi gets nothing. Sure luigi is in games like super smash bros, and super mario galaxy and he even got to be the main character in Luigi's Mansion but still even MARIO is in it still! Even Wario gets more games than Luigi! and Waluigi gets even less attention than Luigi. At least Luigi gets a game for him. So why are the Luigis less important that the Marios? It is because Mario and Wario are more famous than them?

Around the Network

Mario always has been more popular than his brother.

But even Wario is most popular than Luigi with Warioware and Warioland!

hopefully we'll see more Luigi in starring roles soon

Wario is Mario's opposite.

Around the Network

I agree that Luigi is neglected. On the other hand, I believe that Waluigi's very existence should be terminated immediately.

Damn a sequel is a little overdue, don't you think?

does it really matter they are basically the same character, one wears red and the other one wheres green and jumps higher. I wouldn't mind a new Luigi's Mansion game, but outside of that there really isn't a huge difference b/t Mario and Luigi. Mario games generally aren't the most story intensive games so one character is enough.
