lmao games are for everyone not for the rich
Actually 70 € is equivalent to $83, since it includes taxes while American prices don't (there, another nickel for repeating this the millionth time).
Still too expensive, though... That will drive more people to used games.

Does that include the full VAT or just what is applied at the last step?

THAT would kill the gaming industry completely.

If you go to a store in Europe, the price tags include VAT already. When people say "this costs X" here, they always mean including tax.
This is true for online stores too. It's just the way prices work here.

Yeah i know. But i mean in your "equivelent to $83".
I'm wondering if you are counting the full VAT or just the % of the VAT the cunsomer is supposed to pay.
I can see the merits of both and was wanting clarification.
It should be noted that there is no national sales tax in the US though... and it varies by state. I pay like an 8% sales tax myself.
Where i'm moving the sales tax is 0%.

Yeah, look how that turned out.
I meant before any VAT is applied (that's what USA prices are, right?).
70 € = $100
$100 / 1.2 (to eliminate 20% VAT) = $83

I didn't notice that they were talking about British pounds, not Euros. It's the same deal in England?
