I can't even finish it, it's that unfairly difficult. ON EASY. I want my nice friendly God of War on God difficulty, which is easier than Sigma on Ninja Dog.

I cheated lol, since I've played the original before... (And yes I went into pansy mode right from the start to save myself grief)

Lol, pansy mode.

I went into "pansy mode" around 2 hours in. That made things slightly easier, but how the fuck do you kill ghost doku? Especially after going through that room with the huge demons and those GOD DAMNED BATS! Why would they put those bats in the game? I swear, Itagaki's mother was killed by a horde of angry gamers, so he wanted revenge, and this is how he got it.

IMO Devil May Cry 4 was a very mediocre game and I would not recommend it. Buy Ninja Gaiden Sigma or hold out for God of War 3. If you want a good Hack n' slash game.

DMC 4 is repetitive due to backtracking and fighting the same bosses over and over. DMC 4 stand out is the cut scenes that make the game decent. If you are a fan of DMC well get DMC 4.

Really? When I bought R:FOM greatest hits it had the red tab but when I ripped off the celaphane it ripped off with it. I think it's not actually printed on the box its self.

This except screw Sigma, and Dante's Inferno.  And just wait for God of War 3 cause its gonna be the best hack n' slash game to ever grace this earth!

I thought it was ok, just dodge/block his combo and go in for a quick few slashes before bailing, jumping and any fancy shit will generally get you killed so stick to the basic. His slashing combo is annoying though, so is his grab move.

everybody says wait for god of war 3...but you are forgetting he wants a game that he can buy and play now, because of his short break from school.

i say you buy DMC4, it has it´s issues but at the end it is very rewarding...... yes, you do backtrack a lot but in a different way , so it should not be as tedious as some people say, the music, the graphics and story are really good...but hey, that is just my opinion=).

I played it a lot of hours, really fun game, with an OK story and reat gameplay and graphics.
Buy it if you liked similar games.

Damn right it is. But if he wants something now... then he should learn some patience and wait 7 months for God of War III.
