Forums - Nintendo - Wii juggling anyone?

Ok, so I'm a juggler.

When the Wii came out I had this idea that the possibilities for pulling off juggling tricks with the wiimote and combining it with gameplay feats were amazing (flying in the face of all the Nintendo safety advice, granted) but I think now that motion plus is out, the possibilities are even more tantalizing.

Imagine getting a perfect round on swordplay showdown by spinning the wiimote in the air, tossing it from left to right, over the shoulder, under the arm, behind the back. I've never even tried it myself, so I don't know how the motion plus would hold up to the confusion, but as far as the theory goes I think it's an interesting idea.

If you're good at juggling and think you might want to give this a go, then you have my permission to steal the idea and become a youtube legend.

P.S. for those of you who came here thinking I was going to suggest a Wii Juggling video game - I think that would be the most impressive tech demo Nintendo could make. If a gamer could juggle three wii remotes and have them all correspond 1:1 on screen I'd be very impressed. I don't think it's going to happen.

I hate to be a bubble burster, but I think getting tossed around in the air would kill the calibration on the WM+ pretty darn quick.

Maybe if you were really careful about the rotations, you could pull it off. It would be a spectacularly impressive show. Now I'm thinking of two jugglers dueling each other in swordplay.

Yeah, not likely is it? You'd have to account for the motion plus off-set as well. Pretty complicated, but I have a dream!

I don't think it is likely.
