Taz, you joined a month ago; have you even lurked this site and seen some of BHR's posts? The only difference now is that there's not 3 posts on the front page.

How is posting Sony/PS3 bias articles/blogs (not talking about this one, exactly) from [insert random noname site/author here] pro-Sony?

And yeah, obvious is obvious. I can call anybody bias as I see fit, even myself (who went from pro-Sony to neutral to "ugh, Sony and the crusade of teh reassurance-needing internetz fanboys.."; denial is sad.

Look, I posted the first thing that came into my head, and I still believe it to be true to a certain degree, although you've done a good job of persuading me otherwise.

And I've been on this site alot more than a month (over a year actually), and I'm well aware what side of the fence BHR-3 is on.

To be perfectly blunt I find the griping to be the most heinous part of these debates. The reality is that spouting anti-console rhetoric isn't particularly heinous. The criminality of it is in the minds of others who then bitch up a storm until a moderator bans the member. Basically it is a way for some members to censor other members.

The reality is that members of any forum aren't obligated to be unbiased. We are not journalists trying to affect the appearance of impartiality. We can be as biased for or against something as we like. Some members treat the console war as if it were real, and they view moderators as those that enforce a sort of Geneva convention.

All of you need to chill out it isn't as if the poster is spamming threads, and you can just you know ignore them. Ignore the threads and they slip right off the front page. In fact the best thing you can do is respond to intelligent threads rather then base ones.

Just for clarity: MS fans would like this thread locked. It puts MS in a bad light. That's not news, so it doesn't belong on the forums.

Just summing up for the mods, so they don't have to waste their time reading all the complaints.

To be honest I think this thread comes from a neutral source and it is a legitimate airing of corporate misdeeds that have cost consumers. I don't think the source material can be equated to the sort of diatribes that get posted from time to time about all of the consoles.

I can't speak for the motive of the one who posted it here. Though I think something like this should have made it's way into a VGC news article rather than a thread. Shafting consumers is always of concern to everyone, it reminds us that corporations are not out to look after us and puts us in guard to look out for it in other situations.

It's only when you hold corporations to account and not let them get away with shaftiong the consumer that they mend their ways. This time it was Microsoft caught with their pants down (or their hand in the cookie jar if you want to be more G rated). All corporations need to feel the wrath of the consumer from time to time. It was Microsoft's turn this time to be the subject of this salutory consumer lesson.

Poor form Microsoft. Fix it up, learn your lesson and lets all move on.

Did you read the other thread about Sony ultimately winning this generation? While it obviously were pro-Sony it contained a lot of childish attacks on both MS and N. Thankfully it got locked though.

Weird move by MS and I understand why gamers got angry. It's fine if they don't want to sell mature content to underagers but they should be able to get other content.
