Because hadhelds can outsell consoles because a console can be for the whole place and no need to buy more but in hadhelds its a diffrent story quite the oppsite

A number of things. Price, phenomenal library of games that appeals to every taste, Nintendo, and the new possibilities the new input mechanisms bring.
