In fact, I won one Elite on ebay for 60€. But the vendor was so pissed about the price that he refused to send it and got a bad evaluation.... that silly bast*rd...

I think it's safe to say they knew in advance that reliability was going to be an issue but they pushed the release date anyway. That's MS Business 101.
They were simply willing to take the hits from failed hardware if it meant being first to market in the next console gen.
Sorry you are having a tough time, I feel for you. MS ' customer service has been nothing but shitty in my many experiences with them. I know last time I had to send my 360 in, I had a box, printed a label and while on the way to the UPS store, I saw a UPS truck stopped at a local business. I pulled over found the driver inside the business and asked him if he would take my 360 and he did without hesitation. Took me two weeks to get it back.
On a related side note, anyone know how well the Jaspers are holding up?
I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.
Why don't you call them and ask for them to send you the label electronically? In my dealing with customer service departments, if something is taking a long time there is usually something wrong. Unfortunately, it's usually up to the customer to figure it out.

I did, but they rather asked UPS to come to my place(...)...

31th of July, still no sign of UPS.
I just called them to understand what is going on ...
The new dossier number that the support communicated me is invalid (...).
The old one is valid but since nothing happened will be canceled.
So I have to call back the call center..... @#!!
