@CGI, check the thread title. If people insist on claiming a game is the "king" without stipulations on platforms in your title then you're going to get comparisons like people have posted. The OP is to blame not the people posting in here. I'm not unbiased despite being a multiplatform owner and nobody on this site truly is but I have a open mind and can see why the thread title wound people up. You're looking through some serious rose tinted spetacles if you don't see the issue with the title of the thread.

you obviously haven't played Pong if you believe Uncharted 2 has the best graphics :)

1. Opinion != fact.

2. The only screenshots posted have not been gameplay pictures and they have all been doctored at least to a point. All pre-release screenshots are doctored.

3. Other people have different ideas on what is best, if you want a clean thread and if you want the moral high ground to say 'you can't come in here and say that' then you'd need to praise the graphics without calling it the best. The best graphics is like always a subjective thing. Some people want pure fidelity, some people want artistry etc. To call something unequivicably the best is a challenge to everyone who may dare to disagree and they have. Would you rather a thread purely praising Uncharted 2 or a thread which has Xbox 360 and PC games thrown around everywhere and is so off course that the whole message is lost?

4. Im disapointed in you because had you created this thread that you're busy defending then there would be no need to defend it. Theres a huge difference in saying that 'Uncharted is the most visually complete game' and 'Uncharted is the graphics king' I would support the former and I would tear down the latter. Because I believed you when you said you were unbiased, I hold you to a higher standard. Do you not want to be of a higher standard than the rest?

The original was great gameplay wise so I very much doubt they will tinker much in that regard, there will be a huge number of people buying this just on the grounds of the first being a great game so sales will not be a issue.  I fully expect at least 2 million by christmas personally and thats on the low side imo.  Sometimes graphics are overblown on this site but there would be nothing wrong in a thread praising the beauty of Unchartered 2, it's statements declaring a game to be better than anything else that was the issue in this thread.

Thanks, well actually I'd personally pick this game as a 3-4M LTD title. I think that its got the visual style to appeal and every element which prevented high sales last time have been removed; better, longer single player, more honed gameplay, multiplayer to appeal to a wider userbase and give the game longevity. Personally I think anyone saying that God of War 3 will outsell this beast is smoking crack!
