I can't seem to find sales on this game. Wikipedia said it sold 5million. So what did it sell.

Another game that probably has been copied illegal for around 5 times that much.

5 million copies should be a fair estimation considering the cybercafe's that shell out 10$/pc/month for licensing the game.

I ended up buying the HL2 silver pack, best money ever spent on software.

i pmed ioi about HL's and half-life 2's sales so those numbers pretty much came from me. I got the data from wikipedia and the official site claiming the same thing. above 4 million

I've pretty much stopped pirating games. I have to say that the original silver package was about the best deal in video games ever. Some of the best deals in video games have been because of valve and steam.

HL2 - $60 - Came with HL2, DoD:S, CS:S, HL2DM and the entire valve back catalog.

ID software - $70 - The entire ID back catalog

Orange Box - $45 - 'nuff said.
