The controls are perfect, at least for me, everything else on the campaign mode basically.., the multiplayer is ok...

While many of the environments are quite boring and repetitive, I think many reviewers are missing the little touches. The posters, paintings and large displays add a lot to the look of the game. However, most reviews do not mention this.

"However, what isn't so welcome is the notion of dragging the reticule all the way over to the edges of the screen to spin around on the spot."

Use a smaller dead zone. A small enough dead zone allows the screen to spin without moving the reticule much. Reading the owners manual fixes many problems.

Totally agree Video_Gamma_Critic, I personally have the dead zone the smallest possible and also have the turning speed set to 100. Have no problems turning at all and don't even bother using the turn button. There's no need to.

Any reviewers that've criticised the controls just haven't played the game properly or explored the on-the-fly customisation. I'm still astounded that it's got such a low Metascore, some of the reviews have been seriously over harsh imo...particularly in Europe for some reason.

If the Conduit looked half as good as this game I guarantee the press would have eaten it up. The initial sales would have been bigger (then they would have dropped because the game isnt super great).
