Gears of War isn't FPS and there is nothing to suggest Resistance is better than Halo. COD does rival Halo though.

If the ps3 slim is released at a cheaper priced and its bundled with madden, yes its possible, otherwise no.

Really Halo just doesn't get old. Between forge, endless custom game varients, constant updates, its just never ending. The biggest thing that makes Halo so insanly popular still is its pure fun, and its more comptetive than most games. Any old noob can become a general in COD and games like that, for Halo it actually takes skill to rank up. And as for the bold theirs really only one multiplayer game that might be as good as Halo, and that is COD. Everything else is left in the dust (as you can see by how many people play each game on a weekly basis)
