I'm not sure I'm following you--I've always preferred the Genesis version to the SNES rev for precisely the reasons I noted. Yes, the SNES has more colorful graphics, but worse animation and a raft of other, minor, downgrades from the Genesis. (If you prefer SNES, by all means more power to you, but the Genesis rev (and, even more, Sega CD) is the better game, IMO.)
