Anyway, i should have added "imo" to my post, i really dont like SC.

MGS is by far the better series, however Splinter Cell has more stealth options that are better developed.

So, are we talking about 'Stealth elements' or are we talking about which series is better, because both questions have a totally different answer.

MGS are better games, Splinter Cell is better about the sneaking/stealth elements.

Yeah, if you're looking at sneaking elements, then Splinter Cell is better, but the intensity of sneaking up behind someone in MGS is unmatched, so I still think that although there are more options in SC, I have more fun sneaking in MGS.

I personally enjoy the sneaking elements of gameplay in the Splinter Cell series to be more intense and fun. I like everything about MGS except the way the character moves. It totally ruins the experience for me. If Snake had Sam's animations there'd be no doubt that MGS would be the better overall package.

Popularity wise: MGS
Realistic: SC

I've allways loved the story, characters and gear (camo effects FTW!) in mgs series much more than in splinter cell. Splinter cell is a good game too though
