Damn right! What's funny is that I always say to myself "Wait... What if I don't remember where to find all the Heart Pieces/Items," but while I'm playing, everything flows smoothly in my head and Link just never stops running!

I think you know when you mastered a game enough when you always have a feeling that this area has nothing in it, or "Ah, there's something in here for sure because it looks like a closed-area" and stuff.

@ NightDragon83: It was funny actually, because my friend stayed at my house for a day because he wanted to play Call of Duty 4 online and I told him "OK, I'm going to finish A Link to the Past now." By the time I came out of my room, he was still playing CoD and I showed him the ending screen and he was like "What the heck dude, already?" I lol'd!

True dat... TOoT borrowed heavily from ALttP... everything from the "Master Sword" to the Hookshot to beating up chickens in Kakariko village (same name as ALttP too!)  The one thing that TOoT did really well that advanced the series (aside from being in 3-D obviously) was introducing Epona as a means of transportation... nothing like taking aim at some Poes while riding through Hyrule field!
Still, ALttP remains my fav Zelda game to this day, and with the exception of TOoT, no other Zelda game has come close to matching it, let alone surpassing it.

A Link to the Past IS the best Zeldagame. Hyrule has never been more vivid and alive than here, not before this game nor to this day. The music, the story, the surroundings, the temples, everything is epic about this game. Honestly we ought to have a day every year when we just celebrate this masterpiece.

One of the best SNES games, and one of my top 3 Zelda games!! Given the limitations of the SNES, the game was about as perfect as it could be!!
