vgchartz is biased
they locked my thread 2 times (without a reason)
and thats what ive written:

vgchartz really is biased
oh and i edited the mgs4 part

I was browsing trough the database and there are many Games under/overtracked
Okay first of all, there are almost no Wii or Ds games undertracked
but almost every psp game and many ps3 exclusives are undertracked
and it really pisses me off, that vgchartz doesnt update the sales, altough there are official number availible.
Let me show you some examples:
Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3)
VGchartz: 4,07
Okay, Konami told us that they have shipped 4,75 million copies of the mgs series in march (i think at least 4,65 is for mgs4 aline)), in june this title has become a greatest hits game in us and japan, so i estimate about 5 milli copies were shipped. thats 4,6-4,8 million to consumers, at least.
inFamous:
Vgchartz: 0.66
NPD Numbers are 175900 + 10% (because vgchartz tracks more regions) = 193400 (for may) +
192674 (+ 10%) = 405k for 5 weeks
Vgchartz has 326k for the same timeframe
and thats only for us, we dont know how badly vgchartz is tracking ps3 games in others
is strange, that they were busy updating prototypes (360) sales for america when the numbers came in
but didnt the same for infamous, despite having data from npd
next example
Killzone 2:
Vgchartz: 1,76
okay killzone 2 (0,83 million) is above resident evil 5 (0,9 million) in us, link:
so it must be 0,91 at least and how a others and americas numbers are almost indetical, when kz1 sold much better in europe?
so if it is at 0,91 million for america it has to be minimum 1 million for europe because killzone 1 was much popular there and the ps3 has a larger userbase, so i estimate 2 million at least for killzone 2, just look at the warzone players 1,36 million
Next example:
here is a list of how much the psp games sold last month in us
as you can see, monster hunter is horribly undertracked and almost every other psp game is also undertracked (!)

now take a look on last months left 4 dead,fable 2 and gears of war 2 numbers and compare them to vgchartz numbers

yea theire all horribly overtracked
i mean, vgchartz overtracked L4D by about 100% for june
and by the way, how the f*** can a game sell 400k in others but 1,9 million in america?
i think they have overtracked it by about 700k there
so, why are so many ps3 and psp games (especially exclusives) undertracked and so many 360 games overtracked?
i think someones biased here, i just hope vgchartz finally updates the numbers
it just pisses me off how everyone says the ps3 doesnt sell software, but its not sonys fault its vgchartz numbers
that make it look so.
