Forums - Nintendo - Is the Wii's price finally effecting sales?

it's becouse the lack of high queality, high selling nintendo made games, a little bit of the receccion (i personally don't think it's hurting the wii that much), and maybe a little saturation in the market (of course nintendo could make another mega hit that targets a new market, like wii fit with the fitness market.)

the 360's lower price point isn't affecting it much i don't think. most people aren't even considering a 360. they might see it, and then say hell no because it has no wii sports, wiifit, mario kart, wsr, ect.

come try out the computer game i've been working on for my high school senior project, titled sling ball. http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=76669&page=1

you can view a few screenshots from the game in my photo album here; http://www.vgchartz.com/photos/album.php?album=2312

I think its a combo of price, demand, games, time of year and of course the recession. These are not good times to be a console unless you're handheld and your name is DS...

problem with the wii is that shops seem to have a shitload of crap on the shelf and the good games if they have a copy in store sitting behind them in some bottom shelf.

Nintedo need to burn all the crap, and I do not mean casual games, just really really shit games no matter what genre they are.
