No, that's so N4G-ish, you would get a minus just for diagreeing with someone and it would make the forums look cluttered.

Basically, if someone doesn't like what you posted or doesn't like you they give you a Minus point which would be on the side of the post.  If your +/- is in the negatives, your post becomes minimized and a person would have to click on a + to view what you wrote.  It's user self moderation and it would cause a shit storm. :/

Seriously, this'll fail just as badly as it did in other gaming forums. I have more faith in VGChartz than other forums, but still it's too immature and fanboyish for this system to work. Make a negative thread against one side, you'll get negative points.

You'd have to click + to view the entire Microsoft forum if that happened.
