Imagine a ps2 at 50dollars after a final pricecut, It can still sell 20m more.

I don't think he wrote it for the same reason you did, His point was that one console outsold all those others (nearly, if he finds me that source) combined which would be quite an achievment for sony
^ If Sony go that low, it'l just be to get rid of a final lot of stock. It wouldn't be good business to produce and sell them for that price, im guessing it would be un-profitable
If the numbers are correct (I doubt 160), that is an amazing number for an amazing console. I do agree with several posters above, I dont think it has another 20mil left (IMO).

I said dont mention any of the handhelds, this is a console only discussion or did you not read the whole thread?
Dont get desperate and compare things that have nothing to do with this discussion.
And by the way the psp is very successful get your facts right.

Also, where are we pulling these numbers from? Wikipedia? or Sony's ass? I'm not convinced its sold 140m. Maybe shipped, not sold. And besides what is so wrong with the Wii outselling the previous gen market leader? Aren't you hoping the PS3 outsells the previous gen loser?
Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:
If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.
If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.
