Basically Mario Golf with Avatars thrown in there. Oh man, change the shot style to something more like Tiger. It works so well.

Yeah, XNA 3.1 offers Avatar stuff. Wasn't sure if that was the case, but I just checked out the 3.1 API library and sure enough, you can import and animate Avatars. Could be some very interesting things coming out of that.

Microsoft, with Joy Ride, has hinted at a possible new business model for doing free games. You release a free game to Gold members they can play. You then sell DLC to expand it. You can play online, so long as you have a Gold account. Same with 1 vs 100 in regards to the base gaming bein free. It is possible the Golf game will be like Joy Ride.

Btw this looks like a tech demo, its really bland and basic.
