The original looked awesome.

When this ones released it will probably be the best looking racing game out.

Agreed, I think Dirt 2 is giving the likes of Forza 3 and GT5 a run for their money graphics wise.  

I loved Dirt, and Dirt 2 is looking way better than the original. I'm definitely gonna pick this up when it comes out.

There really is nothing else any longer. Sega seems to have dropped Sega Rally at the moment, but even that is a bit arcadey (and hard as fuck). Microsoft had a series last gen called Rallisport Challenge that was very good I thought, but they never brought it over to the 360. GT5 will have some sort of rally racing and the official WRC license, but it's yet to be seen how much effort they'll put into that one mode alone. Likely not nearly as much as Dirt 2 will.

Overall, if you want a really great rally game, or any rally game at all, Dirt 2 is it. There's no competition, as rally games just aren't being made by anyone else any longer.
