I just sold my psp 2000 and bought a psp 3000 used off amazon.com.  I can't seem to find any way to log into my online account.  The person that sold it already had an account on it, and it always defaults to this.  Sorry to ask in the forums but google has been extremely unhelpful so far.  Is there any way to completely reset the system like the DS?  Is there an obvious way to sign into my account instead of the previous owners that I just seem to be missing?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Oh this is not good, the psp is activated on that other users account... this is why buying used products isnt a good idea.

You cant do anything unless he de activates his account from that PSP

So, if I get his password from him, I can deactivate his account from this psp?

Also, are there any penalties for changing to another psp?  Thinking about just eating the cost and buying a new one now.
